Hyunsung TNC builds materials that carry current without losing it. Every transmission line, transformer and converter in service today gives up part of its energy as heat, and that loss is a materials problem before it is anything else. A room-temperature superconductor removes it, and removes the cryogenic cooling that existing superconductors need in order to work at all. The environmental case for this technology and the commercial case are the same sentence. Alongside it we are bringing eco-friendly energy systems into our own production processes.
